Children must turn 5 years of age before 30th April in the year they are to commence school. Birth Certificate, Immunisation Certificates (not the doctor’s or material book) and Baptismal Certificate for those who are Catholic, are required on enrolment.
Enrolment Procedure
The official enrolment period for Foundation students for the 2024 school year is NOW OPEN.
It is important that all families attend an interview with the Principal and/or Deputy Principal as part of the enrolment process. Depending on vacancies, further Foundation enrolments may also be considered at other times of the year.
As part of the enrolment process, Foundation students and their families attend three orientation sessions in Term Four. These sessions are designed to give both the child and their families opportunities to learn more about St Francis Xavier School community.
Please note, no enrolment fee is required at the time of application.
Enrolment at Other Year Levels
There is no official enrolment period for students from other year levels. Enquiries are welcome at any time.
Students and families who wish to become a part of St Francis Xavier School community will need to meet the Principal and/or Deputy Principal, and have a tour of the school. When they arrive on their first day of classes, the students will have a ‘buddy’ from their class group, who can also help them with their transition.
